Hallowmas, Nine Wishes to the Ancestors

Hallowmas is the sacred time when we turn our attention toward our ancestors, those who have gone before us and whose memories, wisdom, and spiritual presence remain part of our lives. It is a time when we call upon those who have crossed over and seek their guidance and blessings in matters that weigh heavily upon our hearts.

During Hallowmas, when the Veil between the living and the spirit world is traditionally believed to be at its thinnest, we direct our petitions toward the ancestors and the spiritual forces that guide us. Whether you seek help with love, money, prosperity, health, protection, or personal difficulties, this is an opportunity to bring your deepest needs before the Circle.

Over the years, I have had many clients share with me that their Heart's Desire manifested shortly after participating in this ritual. Their experiences are among the reasons I consider this one of the most meaningful workings of the Hallowmas season.

Nine Wishes, Nine Petitions to the Universe

For this working, I want you to think carefully about what you truly need in your life. Do not hold back. Be honest with yourself, open your heart, and allow yourself to express the things you may have been reluctant to ask for.

Write down nine things you genuinely need or wish to manifest.

These may involve:

• Love, romance, or the return of someone special.

• Financial relief, money, and greater prosperity.

• Health, healing, and renewed strength.

• Protection from negative influences and obstacles.

• Family harmony and reconciliation.

• Career opportunities and personal advancement.

• Spiritual guidance and direction.

• The removal of difficulties standing in your way.

• Any other deeply held desire that matters to you.

When the Cone of Power is raised and released, your personal petition will become part of the Circle's working. Your message will be placed within the sacred cauldron and symbolically sent toward the four winds and the Guardians of the Watchtowers.

Your Wishes Inscribed Upon Sacred Parchment

Your nine needs, desires, and goals will be carefully inscribed upon sacred parchment. During the ritual, this parchment will be placed into the firepit and released through the sacred element of Fire, symbolically carrying your petition to the Gods and the Universe.

This is your opportunity to put into words the things you most deeply wish to change, restore, attract, or accomplish.
