My divorce was final. Papers signed, everything done, and I truly believed that chapter of my life was closed for good. I tried to accept it, I told myself to move on, but deep down something in me kept saying this wasn’t how it was supposed to end.

I reached out as a last step, not really knowing what could even be done at that point, because let’s be honest, once a divorce is final most people will tell you there is no going back.

Well… they were wrong.

Things began to shift in ways I cannot fully explain, communication opened back up, the walls between us started coming down, and before I knew it we were talking, really talking, in a way we hadn’t in a very long time.

Today, we are back together.

After everything, after the divorce, after all the pain, we found our way back to each other, and I can say this with a full heart…

Miracles do happen.
